" Florida's Ultimate High School Baseball Website"

Steve Schwarze, a native of Forreston, Illinois, moved to Florida in 1991 to continue his high school sports career at Apopka High School in Apopka, Florida. Schwarze first started helping the Apopka High School football team when in the fall of 1993 former Apopka Head Baseball Coach Sonny Wise asked Schwarze to be the public address announcer for the Apopka Blue Darter Baseball team in the spring of 1994. The rest is history!

Schwarze first started his PA announcing career with a microphone, 50 Watt amplifier and a radio, so between innings he could turn on country music for the fans to listen to. Schwarze was not happy though with only that. He went out and purchased a 5 Disc Cd Player, a 150 Watt PA Amplifer, a sound effects machine, mounted more speakers on the outfield fence for surround sound at Apopka High School's J. Barnes Baseball Field and bought 2 fog machines to blow fog out of his pressbox when Apopka scored runs during a game. This decision Schwarze made to change his performance made him one of the top HS Baseball PA Announcers in Florida! In 2005 the Apopka Baseball program  named the pressbox at Apopka High School's J Barnes Field the "Steve Schwarze Pressbox" for all Steve's hard work and dedication to Apopka High School baseball.

Schwarze has PA announced and radio broadcasted high school baseball from the panhandle to the keys and points in between and now he has started SunshineStateBaseball.com! Sunshine State Baseball.com is here to inform the high school baseball fans around Florida and the world about all the great high school baseball in the State of Florida!

If you wondered where Schwarze has broadcasted from here is a list of cities and sites he has been. There will be more sites added in the near future!
